The SEC PQC, Belfort, and Encrypton Workshop, hosted at KU Leuven on September 23, 2024, focused on critical topics in post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, and privacy-enhancing technologies. Attendees had a chance to explore advanced hardware solutions for cryptography, side-channel attack countermeasures, and breakthroughs in secure machine learning. Erkay Savaş and Tolun Tosun from Sabancı University and Jonas Bertels, Thomas de Ruijter and Xander Pottier, Suparna Kundu, Quinten Norga from KU Leuven presented their research on FHE applications, FPGA accelerators, lattice based cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and quantum-safe encryption methods.
