Sub-objectives

Our overall vision is for SU to become an excellence hub in PET that embarks on ambitious international R&I projects within PET and attracts talented scientists and young researchers.

enCRYPTON will tackle the structural needs to reach this vision by building scientific and management capacity at SU and enhancing technical capacity by developing a prototype server. This will be done through knowledge transfer from the project partners Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL),
Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), and Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (AAU), as well as exchange of best practices. This will result in an improved research management capacity at SU and the promotion of collaborative actions and research activities aimed at enabling the capitalisation of data while addressing privacy issues.

• Enhancing the career development of Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs)
• Strengthen research management capacities and administrative skills of SU
• Establishing a pioneering role in the data privacy-preserving (DPP) field in Turkey and Europe and attracting high-profile researchers 
• Increase the visibility and uplift the dissemination capacity of SU and partners in academia and industry
