On October 8, 2025, Sabancı University proudly hosted the Horizon Europe Twinning Info Day, bringing together researchers and administrators to explore collaborative opportunities under the Horizon Europe program.

Twinning is a key initiative that encourages collaboration among European institutions, facilitating the exchange of best practices not only in scientific research but also in management and administrative capacities.

The event featured a series of insightful presentations:

• Erkay Savaş delivered the welcoming speech and shared his experiences in European research collaborations.
• Abdurrahman Türk and Can Kartoğlu provided an overview of the Horizon Europe Twinning 2026 Call, including guidance on partner selection.
• Özge Şahin presented on lump sum budgeting.
• Kadriye Kahraman and Tugce Akkas Moradi shared details on capacity development activities within the ongoing enCRYPTON project.

The session proved both inspiring and informative, helping participants strengthen their understanding of Horizon Europe opportunities and the potential of collaborative research.
